Paula Scher puts the Art into Philadelphia’s new logo

Pentagram’s Paula Scher has designed a truly inclusive new logo for the Philadelphia Museum of Art that uses the A in the word art to showcase the breadth of styles and work in the museums vast collection.

Scher has managed to imaginatively represent as many as 200 different movements, paintings and sculptures, creating a brand that will appeal to all, no matter what area of art they most enjoy.

This first-rate Museum needed an identity that is welcoming and inclusive, that leads the public to one of the broadest and best collections of art in the United States,

Flawlessly executed, Scher has produced a playful logo that displays the artistry the museum has to offer and I personally love its charm!
